Three candidates for Mayor of Albany faced off during a live forum hosted by the Albany Branch of the NAACP, University at Albany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, League of Women Voters, and Council of Albany Neighborhood Associations. The forum was moderated by Spectrum News Anchor JoDee Kenney.
Candidates Greg Aidala (Independent), Alicia Purdy (Republican), and Kathy Sheehan (Democrat) appear on the upcoming ballot. Valarie Faust, who lost her primary race against Sheehan, is continuing a write-in campaign but was not included in the forum.
